Discover life from a different beginning

80億分之一 is a lightweight browser life simulation game. Players begin with a randomly assigned country or region, family background and initial attributes, then make choices through childhood, education, work, relationships and later life. Circumstances, chance and personal decisions all shape the story.

You can start playing on the home page without signing up: random birth, life decisions and a final recap.

Start with a curious question

How might you arrange your life from a different beginning? We want approachable text events to reveal different paths, without making wealth or status the only measure of success. Illness and death will use restrained, non-graphic language.

Play in the past, present or future, or choose a random era. The game runs in your browser using rules, an event library and randomness. Country inputs reference rounded public statistics around 2023; other eras use simplified trends, not historical records or forecasts. Read the game guide and data sources.

Your experience and records

The game is free and needs no account. A life in progress and up to 30 finished-life recaps are saved in your browser. You can move these records between devices with a transfer code. A finished life appears in the memorial only when you choose to publish its fictional name, summary and optional message. Do not put personal information in a public message.
